  1. 'The Beauty of Fractals' Demo

  3. This demo was originally (pre-desktop version) written for the 1990 HCC
  4. Computer Fair in Antwerp, Belgium.
  5. It isn't one of those 'get the most of one VSYNC' demos. It just runs quietly
  6. in a Desktop window (I'm sure Acorn will like this WIMPy approach).

  8. The fractal surface (yes, it's the same one as on the cover of 'The Beauty
  9. of Fractals' by HO Peitgen & PH Richter) was 'raytraced' with FracTrace. 
  10. The green moon was created by wrapping another fractal image (julia of i)
  11. around a sphere.

  13. FracTrace I will put in the public domain as soon as I've finished writing
  14. the 'manual' and 'operating instructions'.

  16. Note: The demo only works in modes 13, 15 and 21!!!
